Walther Orla centrepiece
« on: May 04, 2010, 04:25:45 PM »
Hello everyone
I was wondering if anyone had ever seen the Walther Orla statue with a square base  instead of the round base?
I believe that version went into a different base rather than the normal Orla bowl.
Does anyone have any clues to this version please?
Best wishes Nige

Hi Nige,
could only imagine her for the hyacinth vase carrying either three bulbs or just two and Orla in the middle. Saw that once in the catalogues and a photo of an uranium bulb vase - never in the flesh so far  :'(

Hi Pamela
I too have seen that in the catalogues and would love it in my collection! lol
Do you still have a photo of the uranium bulb vase?
I have only ever seen the blue Orla with square base on ebay a few years ago.
I have sent your parcel so you should receive it shortly!

The mail from Mrs. Spijkstra with photos has vanished long time ago, fortunately I had printed them out, scanned them today, here they are. They were a little blurry, but still good enough I think  :D

Page 81 of Walther 1933 to follow soon on glas-musterbuch.de too  :pb:
