Topic: Masssive contemporary Czech Studio glass vase. Sig. Id?

Hiya,
I bought this vase at the Cambridge Fair a few years ago. It was the end of the day and I was having a wee wander, when this beast came into view. I asked the seller what it was and he replied; "Yours, for £50."
(it was the end of a very long day for both of us, he said it was too much trouble to take to Germany). He did tell me the name of the artist, but I'm afraid I really can't remember.

It's made in 3 different sections, the base, the knop and the body, which have been glued together rather than the incalmo technique being used.
It's 59cm tall, a monstrous thing, I think it's lovely, but I cannot read the signature.
Does anybody recognise it?

I haven't "met" either of them yet, I don't think.
No, I haven't though I was hoping they might take a look.
