ID needed + info on method of construction
« on: May 08, 2010, 07:26:44 PM »
  aargh  Once again I'm trying to download pics - must master how to reduce them!!!

I call this the Elephant foot - obvious eh?  But how is it made and who/what factory is likely to have produced it?  Its a wonderful blood red, veined, with white inner weighs a mammoth 3.2kg is 39cm across top  and 22cm high. It consists of three sections, hollow, as you can see from the pic. The towards the bottom of the base there are three indents leaving three fins like supports.  This is my latest darling and despite combing books etc I'm perplexed. I tend to use gut feelings - and I like this baby!   Help please.

I think this is awfully reminiscent of the sort of stuff one sees in TKMaxx.......

Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)
