Intaglio Wine Glass by J. Lloyd of Tudor
« on: May 10, 2010, 01:47:47 AM »
What a great find. Last week in a small charity shop l found 5 Intaglio wine glasses by J. Lloyd of Tudor(Stourbridge  Glass). Every one was signed on the bowl. Here is the best one of all.

Thanks Christine and JP. I think just happened to be right timing.  The no of glasses is now 8. I bought 3 more today. Just before he is going to take them to auction. I paid a average of £4 for each one.
Sorry Keith they are all gone to my place. You won't find any good one left so no point to tell you where. I normally never find anything at this place except this time.
By the way Keith are you going to B'ham antique fair on Wed. I still got the Chance paperweight you wanted. Check your email so we can meet up.

Ming — lovely find.   I'm always looking for Jack Lloyd signed, but it's not easy to find.   I sold my last example at the May 2009 National (motorcycle museum).

Please let me know if you are contemplating selling them.

Bernard
Thanks .I am not selling at the moment but if l do l will give you the first chance to buy it .  l always go to the glass fair at motorcycle museum. You haven't come across one since last year?

O.K. Keith. I hope you still recognize me. I wait for you by the exit door to the fruit openmarket at 11am.  Would you like to see a Jack Lloyd piece? Tumbler is better as its safer to bring. Lovely glass for whisky(in my case just J2O).
