Owl Vase - Beginners Mistake?
« on: May 27, 2010, 09:09:21 AM »
Hi

At the weekend I was sold a vase, which initially I wasn't keen on until I was told it was Scandinavian by a well known female artist.

I attach a picture, I've found nothing out about it apart from noticing a similar vase on eBay with a label 'Glass by David'.

Have I been conned?

'Glass by David', a company based in Harrow, is best known for beautiful lamp-work.  Your owl vase does indeed look very like the owl vase on ebay with the Glass by David label.  I think either yes, you have been 'conned', or the seller has made a mistake.
