Hello I found your wonderful site on a internet search. I purchased this vase at an auction. Can you tell me if this is original paint and any information you might know on value, maker and age. I would greatly appreciate any time you have to share you knowledge on this piece.

Thank you
Kathy Clark

Hi Kathy and welcome to the board  :hi:

Are you sure it is made of glass and not glazed ceramics, please?

A picture of the base would be useful, I think

It looks similar to the Imperial Glass Co, contemporary Carnival - pattern "La Bella Rosa" (although not identical - the base looks different).

Thank you so much I will check that out. I think is is called a squatty rose vase, but I am not sure about the paint being original. Thanks again. Kathy  :hiclp:
