Large paperweight for ID
« on: August 13, 2010, 01:06:16 PM »
Hi All

Can anyone help me with an ID for this weight (large - I don't have exact measurements with me - I will add later). The base shows wear and has a polished pontil.

Thanks

Hazel

There is a good chance it is Fratelli Toso. The aventurine looks very typical of their work, so it would be my first guess.

Thanks Tx

I find the different Murano factories quite hard to get to grips with - only so much space in my brain at any one time  :24:

You're not the only one, Hazel, that's for sure.  Your weight is very cheerful--like of field of flowers on a sunny day.

Enjoy .... Lily :)
