It was made by both Brockwitz and later Bernsdorf, who named it HEIDI then  :)

Hi Pamela :)
have not been here in quite some time but was most pleased when this thread came up on Google.

I noticed this vase was shown in both Bernsdorf and Brockwitz on your website...so this explains why!

A question...
Is there any way to determine if a vase is one or the other?
I need to decide which one of the two made the pink vase like this that I have to list

thanks so much :)

:hi: Cheri, it's nice to see you back again and I do hope that Marc and you are fine!

Now that we know that Brockwitz did not completely cease production in 1941, but produced a simpler range of glass during 1950ies, we take it that several of the original Brockwitz-moulds went to different VEB-works such as Bernsdorf and Schwepnitz.

Just some more examples, and there are a lot more on other pages in these catalogues:

Brockwitz 1941

Bernsdorf 1954

For me it's impossible to determine the factory and year of production. 'Brockwitz design' is correct anyway, I'd say.
