Broken Glass Duck
« on: August 29, 2010, 09:56:49 PM »
:hi: HI Px thought I should still post my broken duck here.

I too am still curious as to what he might have been.  He is very heavy, about 8 inches tall.  The base does not show much wear, but he still looked like he was well made (well, until he Broke !!! ).  I have no idea, but thought I would see if I can still get an ID on him, as to what he might have been.  This way he can have a proper burial with a proper name.  He has two places where the glass had been smoothed.  On the Bottom, and then right under his tail.  Hope you can see that in the pics..

Poor Ducky......

(Maybe Vannes?  Chinese? ) or what ??

I got ducky with 4 other glass pieces, plus the glass pen -- (6 pieces in total) for a price of $15.  So I guess I am not out that much -- even with Broken Ducky -- and still 5 other Glass pieces (including the Glass Pen) for $15

Ducky IS.....Roast !!

Ducky is Roast Ducky.  His wing has been *clipped*.  Well at least one of them.  Might have to refer to him as just *Art Glass* of unknown.
