I am now the proud owner of this lovely piece of Scottish kitsch. Complete with label for  :sc: sillies like me, so we know what we are really buying!

No, really. Are you sure? I am THRILLED, chuffed, delighted. $9.00 USD with the Canadian dollar almost at par! Life is GOOD!  :rah: :rah: :rah: :rah:

Designed by Kenneth Townsend and released in 1973. Now you need the 1976 piper. He's quite realistic and standing in front of somewhere that might be Balmoral.

A very good find. I now have an actual example of the later Scots Piper that will be appearing in the next book.

There is also a variation to the Ken Townsend design - probably scarcer - which was produced for a British Exhibition (Britische Einkaufswoche), in Munich and dated 1973. Also to appear in Chance Additions.
