Think the perforated bit, was to sift out things like e.g. the 'threads' you sometimes get when you add a raw egg to things, also, the Ebay seller was called, I think, sentimentalrose, the same thought that CJC had, had also occurred to me!

LOL -- here the truth from the Horse's mouth.  Nope, I do not have an Ebay store, or do anything with Ebay.  All I have is a home full of *stuff* - but it is stuff I like.  I have never bought an item off Ebay because I do not even have a paypal account.  My son has bought a couple (car) things off Ebay for his car, but Nope I am just here.  Besides that -- my *pics* are better than that persons pics  :24: :24:  I do like Photography and had taken classes years ago....

Nope - I am not on Ebay at all for anything - Honest - except to use it for research.  I sometimes <drool> over things, but that is as far as it goes.

As for this piece of glass -- I found this other matching cocktail shaker at a Thrift Store here.  After you guys identified the other one (and the age) I thought I better grab this other one when I saw it there.

That where I hunt....garage sales, thrift stores, Flea markets......and Glad I found this other one there...
