Hello everyone
This is a vase my mum has had a while and wondered if anyone had any information about it's origins?
It is a heavy green glass vase with uranium content but not a lot and has a frosted design of snow drops.
Would appreciate any input please.
Thank you all.
Nige

Not a Snowdrop but Leucojum.
Sorry, but that is all the input coming from me.
The vase must look stunning with the actual flower in it, available from spring to autumn.

And Dirk thankyou so much for the catalogue page it's always amazing to see something in it's original pages! Glad of the info and I will pass it on to mum.
I was sure it wasn't 1930s so at least i got that bit right!

I also suspect your slight uranium content is not uranium, especially looking at the date. Manganese is what gives a faint green glow. Uranium is always bright green. Looks like a lily of the valley to me.

Quite poisonous these little cuties - every spring some people mistake them for bearĀ“s garlic.  :srn:

Hi
Ah yes Lily of the valley is familiar! And about the uranium yes it was only faint not the usual bright glow.
Lily of the valley perfume reminds me of really old ladies it's as bad as loulou or anais anais or even worse anything by Estee Lauder! haha
I'm a Chanel man till the end -nothing cheap for me!
Never knew the flower was poisonous though!
