It would make more sense (to me) if it was a "pen holder" or similar, rather than a paperweight. But ...?

I will move this thread over to the general glass forum to see if others have any ideas.

As far as I know Hanne and Arthur are still working at Ahus and doing amazing things there. We'd love to see a photograph.

for your information: Hanne Dreutler died last year.

Etched at the bottom Studio Ahus Sweden 1988 HO - AZ SEK

Mine has the name Zirnsack before 1988.

Any comments to confirm these details?????

The inscription should read HD and not HO,
HD for Hanne Dreutler.

Can we please have a picture of the signature. A sharp, clear picture of the signature, thanks!

I think the inscription before Zinsack is Christian.  any body have any idea!!!!!! :hi:      :sc:

Arthur Zirnsack has two sons, Martin and Christian.

I thought that at  first glance but looking at it under  magnifier it look like 3 sets of letters or numbers.
