Crystal Aurora Borealis Necklace... Anyone?
« on: October 30, 2010, 12:15:16 PM »
:hi:  Crystal Aurora Borealis Necklaces anyone?

I have always loved these, and have quite a few of them here.  They are simple, yet sparkle to beat the band.  I wear mine quite often from in the summer with a white lace shirt (dress it up a bit more)....to Xmas time with a Warm fuzzy Sweater with some light sequences on it.  These necklaces just give a bit of zip to any outfit.  I have always loved them, and love to wear them.

Anyone else Love them?

I could collect these too.  I love the ones from the 50's/60's...

I think if your not a lover of them (as a Glass person) I think you should be -- Start a *trend* and start to wear them, and wear them when you go to glass shows.....

To any Glass Husbands:  BUY your Wife some for Xmas. I think she will love them.

Yes please. I wore a clear single strand and a black single strand this week. I like old glass jewellery.

You love Sue's fire opal (glass) beads.

The iridised Carnival Glass jewelry is gorgeous. I have ice blue, amber, black, green, red and more - some of it is quite old. I also have a gorgeous aurora borealis crystal pendant.

The photo below of a group of Carnival has one of my (old) deep blue iridised bead necklaces in the foreground.
