just received my jug from the states - and i would like to say thank you to " oldglassman "   and " jinxi " for their help ! :rah:

next is to find out who did the engraving - if there is a way to find out ! :sm:

thank you ! i just found a little booklet named " English Rock Crystal Glass - 1878-1925 "- Dudley Art Gallery . it dates to 1976 and on the cover i see the same type of engraving with nearly the same bird - it must be the same engraver - and it is described as a " Rock Crystal decanter  by Stevens & Williams 1885 " and it has the same big wavy cut pattern of the vessel as mine has.
