I suspect there are a fair few new-ish animaly things being produced - I've seen a couple myself. The colours are very bright and what Mark describes as "jewell-like".
Beaked vases with pulled-ear effects have also been seen - with plastic labels on, marking them clearly as new-ish.

I'm trying to remember what animals. I think one was a dolphin - quite a big thing ~ 7-8" long, (but one sees so many dolphin-things) and there was something else, possibly horsey.... :huh:
But decidedly recent.

Could be Phoenician [sp] as well. I saw an angel fish that I would have sworn was Mdina, except for the label.
