Another holiday purchase - last one I promise

This is a cased glass figurine of a polar bear with a thin white layer to the body. Flat polished bottom.  Edited to add: 2.5 in tall and 4.25 inches long

Mantorp? Wedgwood?
I have never heard of Mantorp but they look similar to Wedgwood animals.  :)

Tigerchips - I think you found it.  The Mantorp one is very, very similar in construction.

Thank you.  I will investigate further tonight.

I can't seem to find any information on Mantorp Glass factory.  I can find glass animals made by them for sale.  I found out that Mantorp is the auto enthusiast mecca in Sweden similar to Daytona for NASCAR fans

They make those long-haired trolls we had on another thread :D

Correction, they make a version of the troll. The other one had been identified as Bergdala

Thank you, Ingela.

I don't see anything similar to my polar bear on the websites you provided so maybe it isn't Mantorp  :?
