Just a point about the title.  Whilst it is an Alexandrite glass - due to neodymium, it is not dichroic in the way that is currently used in refernce to glass.  Dichroic glass REFLECTS light often in a rainbow of colours.  I don't know what is the correct current term for two coloured glass.

I just stumbled upon this auction that listed this vase as designed by Josef Hoffmann for Moser.

Maybe, but that's also a standard ebay attribution for such things.

Well, I suppose if it was somebody who would recognize would have piped up by now.  I'm sure there are plenty of fans of Moser in this forum.

Hi,

You may always write to Moser http://www.moser-glass.com/en/services/contacts and ask them about your vase -- they are very good in giving prompt replies.  Unfortunately, if your piece isn't marked, you will most likely get their standard "It's not Moser...  It's typical of Zelezny Brod..." response.  But perhaps it's worth a shot.

Very nice vase, by the way.  :)

Thank you.  That's very interesting.  I've heard of the Werstatte and I'd like to know more.  I'll have to check my local library for books.
