Can you help Id this Rainbow glass Vase
« on: February 14, 2011, 09:12:54 PM »
Can you help ID this vase, I think it has some age to it, as you can see the glass bubbles inside. Has a very lustre finish rainbow glaze, so I'm hoping someone can recognize it!
Thanks for your help!
Vickie

Hello everyone thankyou for your help. I googled Thomas Webb and I came up with "Bronze glass" finish. This website has a simular shape.

Maybe mine has been ground down on the top edge?

Still a lovely piece.
What so you think?

All the Webb pieces I've seen have rounded rims, cut and polished rims are common amongst Bohemian glass but you can never be certain glassmakers copied each other World wide, just to confuse collectors I think ::) ;D ;D ;D

Naughty JP, if you weren't trying to plug your stuff you wouldn't have put your ebay id

I think I would go with Bohemian too. The rim has been properly finished with a bevel, so I don't think it's been cut down. Kralik might be an option.
