Etched vase : swans dragonflies and rushes. query Caithness?
« on: March 20, 2011, 12:22:17 PM »
Hi - I recently bought this rather pretty little vase.
Seller told me it was Caithness - but I asked why as it did not look like anything I had seen from them before - he said that was what his late mother in law called it. It was on her Caithness shelf.  I liked it so bought it anyway.

any ideas as to whether it could be Caithness or if not,  who made it?

the picture is different all the way round  ie 3 sets of swans bullrushes and dragon fly - all slightly different  - not a repeated pattern. A good weight to it, and nicely finished. approx 12cm high and 12 cm at maximum width (4 3/4 inches)

Thanks
