 David & Ross, Many Thanks for your replies. I'm sure that I had previously seen this Vase ID'd elsewhere as by Bertil Vallien, its probably not but thats the attribution I was trying to think of! now to find out who it IS by!!LOL!

I too would be quite sure it is not a Kosta Boda piece - it would not be irreidescent.   My suspicion is that it is a decorator piece from  :or: sold by someone like Ikea.  The importance of a good base photo is apparent here.  IAn immaculate base would indicate a quality maker as more likely, a poorly finished one = Asian as more likely.
