Purple brown vase with air bubbles, possibly Czech?
« on: April 01, 2011, 10:21:29 AM »
I've had this vase for a while, the seller thought it might be Beranek. Haven't seen anything similiar so far, but I hope someone recognizes it - it looks certainly Czech to me (but it could be another factory?). Colour is brown at the base going into purple at the rim, and it has a ring of air bubbles under the rim.

It's 22.5 cm high, 20 cm wide at the rim and 8 cm diameter at the base. I think it's a "seconds" - a small piece of clear glass was fused to the inside during production and the base looks unfinished. I'm still interested in giving it a firmer attribution though.

Any thoughts?
