controlled bubble vase - unsigned
« on: April 15, 2011, 08:06:56 AM »
Any ideas on this controlled bubble vase? It is quite substantial and all the bubbles are internal to the glass. (I have one that the bubbles are exposed on the inside that is signed by Gunnel Nyman)

I thought this forum was about glass not gl(ass) - one photo of the vase bottom, one of the wife. - most should be able to tell which is which

btw, I have started an antiques social network if any of you care to join, I will be advertising this forum in the glass groups I am creating starting a bit later this evening - what a great resource this is.

thank you all

It is 6" tall and 6" Diameter at the top (that's 15 cm for all of you  that dont do inches), a little over 3" (8cm) at the bottom. It does seem well made, quite on par with the Gunnel Nyman, maybe a bit thicker glass. here is a photo more from the top

here btw is the Gunnel Nyman I keep mentioning. For all you bottom fans - sorry, I do not have a pic and the vase is at another location - it is signed and you can feel the bubbles inside the vase
