Topic: 'Martele' art nouveau lampshade 'peacock eyes' trails - cost 3 shillings new :)

I hope someone can help me out with this.  I've been round and round, Bohemian and British makers and got nowhere so far.  It's a kind of martele finish and I thought it must be Kralik but I can't find a match to the actual Martele finish and clear with the trails.  I've put a photo of the writing on it, written at the top rim - it seems it cost 3shillings new.  It's a real piece of history somehow with that on

Very nice shade,not sure if it's martele,could be Kralik,did they do lampshades? here's one of mine to compare...

Thanks Keith.  It is what I would call a martele finish (martele means hammered appearance I think - and excuse the fact that I don't know how to put the accent on the letter e) but whether or not it is a Kralik martele piece is another thing altogether.   
Any direction would be helpful

just sharing my thoughts here    I've found this vase on Glasshound's site (member here I think?) that appears to have the 'peacock eyes' that look very similar to my lampshade, i.e. with the round blob in the middle.  It has some numbers etched  on it.  Mine does too - at least I thought mine were written on with pencil but I'm not so sure now.
So maybe from the same maker?

Your numbers are written in pencil. Lighting is very difficult to ID, as so little of it was catalogued and was made in numerous countries. I doubt that your shade is Harrach or Kralik. The peacock eye was a very common motif. Your lightshade looks more like 1950s IMHO.

thanks    yes the numbers may be written in pen as I can't rub any of it off with a rubber.  I can't see this as being a 1950's shade though to be honest, but I'll keep looking.
