Massive/Heavy crystal vase, unknown origin

Another inquiry just in case someone has seen something similar ...

Yet another find.... almost 7 inches high and sooo heavy.
Looks like cut ice almost.

Any ideas as to where this piece originates from ?????

I don't know with any certainty where this particular vase hails from, but this type of texture was common in Scandinavia and Germany in the 60s-70s. Later on I'm sure it was also made in other countries.

The pattern reminds me of a glass dish I have, which couldn't be positively identified here:
