Amethyst/Aubergine spiral vase - maker?

This is a well made little vase which as you can see has a very nice even spiral, 4 lobes and a pontil that is ground out so the base has four feet.

I suspect it is Czech but really have no firm convictions.  Help wanted for maker, aporoximate date of manufacture, and a designer if possible.
