Decorated footed flask
« on: June 02, 2011, 01:23:42 AM »
I have a old free blown and highly decorated flask. The decoration includes nipt-diamond-waies, applied chain, prunts and a crimped applied foot. There is also a
large amount of age related ware on the base and on some of the prunts. The glass
is leaded. I am hoping that someone may be able to help me identfy the possible
maker and time period of manufacture. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg

Looks like Gordiola to me, beginning to mid 20th. Unless there is a polished out pontil mark underneath, in which case we might consider French.
