    Super Buy there Craig!

Not to hi-jack your thread -- but how is your Web page coming that has been under Construction?  When will it be ready?  Can't wait to see it   :hiclp:

Back on topic -- still amazes me how perfect those bubbles can be made.  Does anyone know a Vid where it shows them making so perfect bubbles like this in a piece of glass?  I would just like to watch it -- as I am always amazed by the perfectness of them...

I went to Leerdam last year. From what I deducted from seeing some of the moulds (please correct me if I didn't get it right): the mould is full of little spikes, very regularly spaced apart. The first layer applied has therefore little holes. The second layer of glass encases the holes, making them bubbles.

I believe the spiked mold is referred to as a Pineapple....

Rose:  I am hoping to have enough done within a couple of months to announce it formally.... It wll never be "done" as such, but I need to finis some text pages up and clean up some details and links....  With me back at work it is becoming more difficult to find the time to get to it, but I will......

Craig:  Stopped on the way back from Cannon Beach, Oregon. We'd stumbled into the mall as I'd stopped at the Esquin for a sampling of Washington Cabernet blends (fabulous) and Lynne found the mall while walking the dog. I bought a little Benny Motzfeldt (unannitributed = good price) and another piece that i'll put on GMB tomorrow. Worth going back to the mall so I'll let you know next time I'm down. I wondered if that was the auction place where you had worked.

Never heard it called that - it usually goes by the name of nail mould.
