Jobling Deco green glass Graces comport
« on: June 07, 2011, 08:48:14 PM »
Good evening everyone
Just wanted to post some photos of this vibrant green glass comport by Jobling which I managed to find yesterday at a fair.
I have never had one in my collection and it was wonderful to find!
Thanks all for looking

Nige,
It is a lovely piece and the colour of yours is great. I love the proportions of this particular piece and the fine details of the mold.
I have a clear and satin jobling 3 graces comport unfortunately mine has a chip under the bottom rim and is discoloured a funny light mauve colour (sun-purpled I assume) so because of these flaws I don't mind it being used!

Cheers
meegs

Hi there!
I know exactly what you mean regarding the proportions and detailing....they actually look quite happy don't they?
It's a lovely piece of thick glass and has a great feel to it.It only has the smallest of nibbles on a fold of the dress.
It was an absolute steal so I grabbed it double quick! lol
