That could be entirely possible, Sue.  I usually see Americans post these types of vases but this is a first I have seen a European post one of these.

Question - are Dale Tiffany products actually produced in America?
Or are Dale Tiffany a distributor of bought in goods?
Just wondering , having read their blurb

You can add pics to any post in a thread - up to 4 at a time.

Is the pontil mark polished smooth and shiney, or satinated, or.... is it central, is it completely round... are there marver or mould marks around it....... you get the idea!

(A pontil is the iron rod the hot glass is held on to - it leaves a pontil mark when it is removed. Glass does not have a pontil - except when it's stuck on the iron, it just deosn't make any sense, Steve. :) sorry - this is my own particular bugbear.  :pb: )

I believe Dale Tiffany is the company that makes the glass since retailers carry his glass.  Here is their website.

I am going to correct myself.  One member on Fossilfly, and she is American, posted one of these vases and I just found the other post with another I think is made by Dale Tiffany and the member is from the UK.

The website is rather vague about what is made and what is assembled and what is designed.

tam bam I was just thinking that, when reading their site, they actually sounded like an importer or distributor or representative rather than a maker, and I am quite suspicious they have the name Tiffany in their name.
On the last link you posted to on fossilfly Cliff seemed to be intimating they are Chinese (last post in the thread) if I didn't read that wrongly?  I am also sure I have seen them (the turquoise one) id'd as Chinese on a Bohemian glass site somewhere in my travels.  However,  you have found one with a Dale Tiffany label and I haven't yet seen one with a Made in China label, just attributions as Chinese, so I could be totally wrong  :-[

Hmmm, I read that before.
It says they check it and assemble it - it doesn't say anywhere that they make it.
