Disco! White & orange cased style bowl - Murano?
« on: July 25, 2011, 01:44:05 AM »
I've never seen anything like this.  It's my disco ashtray :sun:  In five separate casings: clear outside, white, dark orange, paler orange, then yellow.  18cm on all the sides and 5.5cm tall with a slanty ciggie holder.  Hey - it makes smoking coooool (not.  And I smoke).  Completely flat on the bottom with wear.

Many thanks to everyone here.

I've added a more descriptive title for you.  People might not click on simply 'disco!!!' on it's own.   ;) :)

Looks like Murano to me, although I couldn't suggest a factory. I'll bet the piece demands attention no matter where it's placed.

It's small but gorgeous David, and the colours glow, thanks.

Barbini or Cenedese comes to mind...without a label...hard to tell! The layers suggest to me Barbini along with colouring...but being a Murano...we can be fooled with a false id...

Thank you so much Kane.  Looking up Cenedese I found the answer to another ashtray that I have and I'll go with Barbini for this orange one.
