Is this by Iittala?

If so, do you know the designer?

It feels like another signed piece I have by Tapio Wirkkala and the base is the same - ie complete flat.

It's certainly of a similar quality.

Any opinions gratefully received.

Many thanks.
Many thanks, Anthony

It certainly could be Scandinavian (in which case I can't help you, since I don't know much about that area)  but if not, these type of designs, quite often in decent quality crystal, were also popular in Germany in the 60s-70s (in which case it will be hard to pin down on a specific maker or designer).

Have you looked carefully at the sides?  It is just that sometimes Tauno Wirkkala signes down the side instead of on the base...worth a look anyway.

Sorry - forgot to get back on this. Went over it and couldn't find a signature.
Many thanks, Anthony
