Early C20th Green Vase - ID = Sindorf Isar
« on: August 20, 2011, 10:36:10 AM »
As suggested here are some better pictures of the green vase on its own. It stands about 9" tall and the top is 9" along its widest dimension. Contrary to the picture it is symmetrical! :) The diamond shaped base measures approx 3" across the points.

Any ideas as to its origin, age and value would be appreciated!

Rich

Good question, but sadly I don't have a UV bulb to check.

Hi there,

Nice vase, so I had a look on pressglas pavillon. It appears to be a 1935 design from Sindorf.

Look here: http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/vasen/09901.html

As to your question on the value: It's a nice vase, but I wouldn't rate it as a high quality art deco design. Vases like these usually sell for 30-60 euro.

regards,
bablo
