Yellow vase with white blobs & applied trail - Czech?
« on: August 26, 2011, 09:26:15 PM »
Looking at some of the online specialist websites makes me think this is Czech. The yellow and white seems to suggest late victorian and the shape 1930s. Does that mean it's a likely contemporary piece? Anyone be more precise?

I agree with Greg, a very recent production.

OK. Wishful thinking. Never mind. I'll either box it up and stash it until it is old or pass it on as a wedding gift to distant in-law!

It reminds me of some of the glass being made in India. I couldn't find this specific vase, but it was my first thought for it.

I saw a sim piece to this afew weeks ago in an oppie.
It was all colours with a speckled appearance, had the glass trailled ring which had a break to it.
Was very nice though.
I think they had $10 on it.
