Small footed pressed bowls - same factory/designer
« on: August 29, 2011, 12:09:12 AM »
Identical shapes and importantly the design is reflected in the foot. 100 (4") ΓΈ 76 (3") high. Suggestions?

Frank, I have a niggling feeling that I saw these or something very similar in one of the catalogues on Pamela's Musterbuch site a while ago. They stuck in my mind as I was looking something like them up ages ago for someone else, whose pics I can't now find... ::)

I hate to be presumptuous as I know next to nothing but surely the blue is Walther, 1936? (Pamela's site)   :X:  :-\

Well spotted, thank you. Re viewing Walther catalogues for the pattern on these two...

Same shape yes, but not the same pattern... Frank's has horizontal patterning - Pamela's hasn't. Feet are different too...
