Clear frosted glass vase info
« on: September 10, 2011, 04:19:00 PM »
Hi, does anyone have any ideas about this vase? Age, maker, value? It is so heavy I thought it was crystal but it has an airbubble in the handle.  I can't find a signature.  Thanks for much for your info.

Vase is 10.5 " high, 7 " across at  bottom and 4" deep at the widest.  The glass is about a 1/2" thick.  The surface has an etched feeling and the intaglio is also etched.  Only the bulbous knobs are smooth.  The bottom has a perfectly round half dome imprint, 1 1/2" in diameter and 1/4" high.  Husband keeps forgetting to photograph bottom-- he doesn't think it is important.  LOL.  Also, it feels like it weights a couple tons!  Thanks for any direction.
