 and I'm even more embarrassed that I misquoted the book by 1000 years in my original guess ( I said 5th century, rather than 5th century BC -  :thud: )  and here was I thinking I was pleased my trough was 130 years old lol.

VSL were still selling 'Ponts' in 1963 - but no feet on theirs (Today's trivia)

Whats a thousand years amongst friends?

Cannot even do a challenging quiz on this board anymore... too much knowledge. Have to a more obscure one next time...
