Hello,
I'm new here and I have what i think is a beautiful art glass, bowl with underplate. It is large like a salad or candy bowl.It seems to be of high quality glass with a satin or frosted finish in the most beautiful shades of green and blue. I love this bowl, but my husband hates it. I think it is something special but there are no marks to let me ID it. So please help me "justify my love". Is this treasure or trash? Any help identifying this bowl would be most appreciated!!

Thank you!!

Hi and welcome!
Your bowl has been made by Walther glassworks in Siebenstern / Germany. See for comparison:
ebay
Although it may not be obvious at first sight it´s a pressed glass article and mass produced, but
one of a good quality.  :)

Wow!! Dead on!! Thank you Dirk!! mass produced or not, I've never seen another one like and I just love the colors in it. To me it's treasure and a keeper I don't care if my husband likes it or not :P

Thanks again!!

You´re welcome!  :)
And if your husband doesn´t like them, well, now you know what and where to look for
to extend it as a collection...  ;D
