Heiremans SVdA book to be released?
« on: October 26, 2011, 03:42:38 PM »
Came across this today:  a pre-order for Heiremans Seguso Vetri d'Arte, which the seller says is being published on October 31, 2011. I'll believe it when I see it as it isn't on the Arnoldische site.

I'm also waiting for Arnoldsche's third installment on WMF that also seems to have vanished into the ether.  ::)

I doubt it. I wrote to him and his answer pretty well said that it was delayed until further notice. I guess its another victim of the GFC.

A few of us actually placed orders with Waterstone? about a year ago and after a few months I claimed a refund on my card.
Clean and Crisp a Murano twist.
Archimede tops my list.

Hi everyone,
I have personally talked with Marc about the book, and he mentioned to me the release will be late 2012.

Book Depository has put the book back to being unavailable. So apparently it was another of those false hopes. From what was said by Heiremans, the book won't be released to the general public, so we're unlikely to see it in any bookstore except maybe as a re-sale.

I emailed the publishers and asked if they are still planning to publish the book.  I got a reply back form Marc Heiremans today saying that the publishing date is set for May 2013.  Further information will follow on his website.  Fingers crossed!

What do we need to do, start a petition?  This is silly.
