Gigantic Chribska bowl/vase
« on: November 28, 2011, 12:08:56 AM »
Thought I'd share this as it is such a fabulous bowl/vase  I believe it is a Chribska piece - certainly a couple feature in the 1999 catalogue that are remarkably similar, although on appearances in the catalogue you'd never believe they were this size.  Had to take the photo at an angle to get the whole piece in.  Front on it reminds me of a steer with huge upturned horns.
This one is 19.5" long or 49cm  x 19.5cm deep and 14cm high  :o
Weighs 2.6kg or nearly 6lb.
It has it's own special display table   ;D

Thanks glad you like it.  I bought it today .....along with a Kralik green crackle vase.....don't worry  ;)...that is badly damaged with an enormous crack so only cost 50p ;D  I'll just stick some superglue on that one and turn it the other way round.
