The bowl doesn't strike me as Czech.

Not even with the quite closely matching features of the lamps bearing Czech labels?

Nic, not that I'd know, but to be honest the bowl doesn't say Czech to me either  :-\  the only other decor I have seen similar..ish has been a Nazeing piece, but I know nothing about Nazeing and it probably isn't that either  :-\
sorry - but the lamps were a match  ;D

It might just be my photos (it was a pain in the bum to light - and the results aren't amazing), but the colours and technique used on the dish really do match the Bargain Hunt lamp... which in turn bears very close resemblance to the lamp with the Czech label.

But... obviously... different factories in different countries used the same techniques and schemes as and when they were in fashion... so I know that's not a dead cert.

mm, your top photo is the best likeness.  Can you get a close up of the decor similar to the lampbase close up you posted from the tv show?  I can't see the 'powdery' effect in yours which I presume is there?

There's another bowl here on ebay and I feel pretty sure this is the same decor as the lampbases  :-\ and as Nic's bowl, but Nic, please could you add your pictures to the board directly so they remain here?

In Pina's Italian Glass these small square bowls are attributed to Venini. Sorry, don't have the book to give further details.

are these bowls not the same as the lamps I linked to then?  The lamps have a Czechoslovakia label I believe?
Nic, would it be possible please to upload a photo directly to the board?
thanks  :)

They don't look like it to my eye but a similar effect if not technique.
