Need help on a 6" hand painted cobalt blue vase
« on: December 14, 2011, 04:01:33 AM »
Hi, another item from the estate. This vase is 6" tall and 3" across and is hand painted. There are imperfections in the glass that I have tried to capture in the pictures. Any information on what it is and where from and price would be super helpful.

Your pictures are too low resolution. They blow up into fuzzy blobs. You need a high-resolution picture resized so that the maximum dimension is 700 pixels.

Your "vase" looks like it might be a Bohemain decanter or perfume bottle missing a stopper.

Bohemian bottle probably the undrside of a water pipe, and possibly from the 1920s or 1930s. Made for the Persian market.

Thanks for the help!

I did the pictures from my iPhone and resized on the Mac. I'll try the next ones from a PC and see if I can get better results.
