Topic: white dolphin prunt

Is it a blob or is it a prunt? Set of three vases in thick, thick green glass with a milk glass applique of a jumping dolphin. pontil mark neat but unfinished. Probably at one time had a circular sticker next to it.
I have no idea where to look. The style is a bit Danish Or a bit Polish -  or a bit Russian. but then again not quite...

Fresh from the marketplace?  I was a bit tempted myself for the riddle factor, but decided otherwise...
Can´t be of any help but to suggest it rather looks like a marlin to me.

Exactly. Marlin, swordfish, large mackerel - it is not quite obvious.

My first instinct was Norwegian  maybe the combination of the green and the fish - no idea why otherwise.
It also reminded me of the Faglaviks type combinations - they used a lot of 'milk' glass.

Can´t be of any help but to suggest it rather looks like a marlin to me.

That is all I would know....Have no idea. 

Wonder if a souvenir pieces from some fishing resort gift-shop (or made special for a Fishing club).....but where??

Faglaviks has been checked out but i cannot see a single applique this size anywhere.

That is a nice angle, thank you so much.  I did find mugs with a jasperware applique, and several items in milk glass - but nothing as close to these as i'd like.

Currently looking at Plus glashytta, Richard Duborgh - but thee does not seem to be a lot on that production either.

I don't think they are Richard Duborgh only because they don't seem quite 'organic' enough somehow.
I've been searching Magnor but nothing there.  Do you have an easy way of searching Wendelboe auctions?  There may be something on their various listings for inspiration.
And Starkeld are normally a good source as well -  I'll have a look there.
I've just had a thought - American?  the 'fish' kind of fits and the prunts remind me of a suncatcher I had from there ( I think the suncatcher was maybe Pairpoint....does that sound right? are they American?)  I might not have remembered that correctly  )

Thank you for  wonderful new source of information. The Wendelboe archives are online, even if there are only a handful of glasses per auction it is still worth getting to the ground. It may take some time though.
American seems unlikely - we hardly ever see american glass here and then three in one go? I looked at Blenko but I think that if it were someone would have yelped by now :-) and Pairpoint at least did medals - though the style of the vases is a bit simple. The plit thockens.
