I'm sure I saw something very similar in a Czech catalogue, online recently. Unfortunately I don't have time to backtrack.
Try looking on Pamela's pressed glass website: http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/
I spent a couple of hours going through this website last week so it could well have been on here that I saw it.
I think someone already suggested that it looks to have been pressed and then worked whilst hot. (on here or one of the other threads).
Good luck!

I have been through pressglas with no luck. I have seen the vase with another style being sold as Sklo Union with a mention of "Czech jugendstil" ?http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-SMALL-BUT-STUNNING-CZECH-BOHEMIAN-SKLO-GLASS-VASES-VGC-/280817509804?pt=UK_Art_Glass&hash=item41620725ac
I am listing this soon. Thanks Scavo

PS I tried this against my eye and yes it fits perfectly around the eye as an eyebath (mentioned previously)
Pete. :-)

Hi,
In the link, the vase on the left was designed by Frantisek Vizner for Hermanova, pattern number 20053.  The vase on the right (and your little green vase) is, for the time being, still an unknown.  :)

Ask a MOD to add "Eye bath?" to the title. There are specialists on here for that kind of thing.

As far as I know, this isn't an eyebath, it's a small vase.  I'll add 'eyebath' to your title as that's what you'd like though.

You should take into account the variety of colours this object came in.  If it was an eyebath, I doubt very much you'd find that variety.

Someone in another link mentioned the eyebath. Curiosity made me put it to my eye, that or my childish side ;D. I saw a vase but cant remember the name that has a similar 'cut' and another with the same green. (maybe Blucher/Walther) that's as close as I got to ID. I guess it will be answered one day as there are a few about. Thanks again all. Pete. (Its listed but left the attribution vague-ish.)

When you list it please do use a less inappropriate description ;D

Im not sure which part is inappropriate could you clarify, I dont want to seem inappropriate at all :-\ I have just checked what  jugendstil means. I could see that may cause offence to some and apologise if it did. It was a term used in the site I looked at. Thanks. :-[

Pete, don't take my reply too seriously, I was making fun of that ebay item description :)

I wanted to point out that the vase in question has got NOTHING to do with "Jugendstil" (nor does it seem to be Czech according to the experts on the board...)

Thanks Rocco, I can take things too serious sometimes  ;D. I listed as possibly in the description but the title is to attract people and they can make up their minds. Its a minefield all this glass. I know very little and buy what I think looks good or pings a memory. Its going to turn out to be ikea after all this  ::) but its a nice little piece all the same.
