help please oil lamp shade / cover ?

bought this today i think it is a shade / cover for an oil lamp it looks European. would love to know more about it. i have seen similar on glass steins. any idea of age ect

i have looked around and think this is called schwarzlot decoration same as used in stained glass but for age im non the wiser

Hi,
I think it´s kind of (transfer) print rather than real painting. My favourite german candidate
for these older looking pieces would be Alfred Taube / presumely 1960´s or 70´s:

looks very much like his work. i thought it was transfer and tried to scratch a small corner off. i dont think its transfer but a modern version os schwarzlot

If it's a transfer, you may be able to see the printing dots under a strong magnifyling glass. Scratching is not a test for a transfer. Hand enamelling and enamel transfers are all fired on. Schwarzlot just refers to the black/brown enamel

cant see any dots with my glass but i could still be a transfer. im trying to find out more about Alfred Taube not much on the net that i can find. a little bit on this message board  closed in 1992
