Topic: Tall Yellow/Amber vase, ribbed on the inside..?

Hey good people, got this tall 25 cm heavy vase today, the outside is smooth and rectangular and the inside is vertically ribbed and round.

looks a bit old, with wear and such

the colour is very shiny and golden, anyone know where in the world might be from?

Possibly Czech, sure someone will confirm for sure.

Hi Helga,

Greg is absolutely right... it is Czech, designed by Milos Filip, for Rosice, pattern number 632.  You can see it in the 1963/9 CGR on Jindrich's site:   CGR 1963/9.  The colour is not uncommon.

Maybe people in Iceland just never bought yellow glass so that's why i have never seen it before
