identification sought for romanian cut to crystal glass
« on: February 25, 2012, 01:28:00 AM »
This glass was new 15 years ago, given as a wedding gift.
The giver remembers the set of four were from Romania.
There is this amethyst plus one blue, one red, and one green
in the set of four.
We have been unable to find the pattern so far.
Romania is our only clue.
Always keep the box is a good lesson to learn
whenever there is a box.
I really enjoy this site.  Lots of love for the art is shown here.
Beautiful glass has a spiritual quality.  We know gravity will
eventually win, but the light makes magic with sand and rock
and fascinates us all.

Glass has been identified now as. Florderis pattern by Ajka in amethyst.

Oh go on, visit their website. They're the main producers of cut-to-clear glass also for third party.
