Hi, I've recently purchased this little bowl, I have nothing to go on regarding age, origin or maker.
maybe it is just a studio piece? Hope someone is able to tell me more?

Are you sure it's glass?

I saw that while it was for sale and thought it looked lovely.

From the sellers description it sounded like it was lamp worked, how big is it, is the glass thin and how heavy is it?

Can you get a photograph of it in daylight, with the light behind it?

John

That looks a lot to me like Wiedmann for Gral glas (German), some of his designs were non-transparant. Hoping Dirk can confirm or deny.

Astrid I bet you're right.  I had thought possibly WMF Unika piece, but I looked through the book and couldn't find anything similar or the shape.

it looks quite a bit like WMF Lavaluna - I couldn't see the shape but the one I can see is a Unikat piece.

Hi, sorry for late reply and thanks for all the comments.
The bowl is quite light weighing only 60 grams, I've added more pics, hopefully they are better.
Thanks again, I'm off now to have a look at the suggestions provided.  :)

So it could be lampwork of some sort maybe?  I don't know if that decoration is achievable with lampwork as I don't know much about it.
