No idea why and take it with a pinch of salt but Scotland came to mind as soon as I saw this. A very nice piece IMO. Arts and craft style.

Looks more like some of the modern Romanian metal and glass pieces we've being seeing lately

You got it, Kieran. A lot of people like Romanian glass. I wouldn't put it in the garden just yet. I'm always surprised at how fast some of it sells.

Definitely Vadan.  He is known for his combinations of glass and metal.  Here's mine.
