Looks Czech to me, Skrdlovice, in fact, and by one of the Beraneks.  1950's. The green is a little harsh for Skrdlovice but I'm assuming that's because of how you took the photo.

Nice piece.

David

PS Looking again, I'm less sure of the attribution. A clearer photograph taken against a white background would help a lot. I'm just not sure what I'm seeing.

I think it is indeed a Skrdlovice piece with the colours I think I can see.  Look at http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,47684.0.html where a recent purchase of mine does have the green part glowing under black light.  As you can see it has been identified as a Skrdlovice item.

I agree with David's remark re the benefits of white backgrounds for colour recognition.  The only time it sometimes is best to use a dark background seems to be with clear crystal.

This is the model that I thought it might be, but in the colours suggested by Ross.

That green colour looks as if a bit of sunlight has excited some Uranium in the glass.....  :)
